BIOGRAPHY

Born in Tilburg, the Netherlands, Bernadette Vieverich spent much of her childhood in Curaçao, an experience that strongly influenced her sense of colour and perspective.
She studied fashion design at the Royal Academy in ’s-Hertogenbosch and later Arts Management at HKU Utrecht, followed by twenty-five years as a project leader for environmental and human-rights organisations.
Since 2012, Vieverich has focused on large-scale landscape paintings as metaphors for the inner world. In 2018, she developed Life Walks, an ongoing series translating personal life stories into paintings: www.livingart.me
