Biography

Carlos has lived in Curaçao since 2008, moved back to the Netherlands in 2023 Since then has divided his work between studios here and in Rotterdam.

Blaaker has exhibited several times, including at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and in various countries, including the Netherlands, Suriname, and the United States.

His work mainly showcases the warmth of the Caribbean people going about their business, in bronze or artificial material.
