BIOGRAPHY
Gwen Anderson is a mixed-media artist based in Curaçao whose intuitive, material-led practice explores memory, identity, connection, and transformation. Working across encaustic, epoxy resin, photography, natural and found objects, ceramics, and Pique Assiette mosaic, she combines experimentation with craftsmanship to create layered works that balance order and chance, vulnerability and resilience. Her 2026 solo exhibition, Connecting the Pieces, at The Curaçao Museum traced the evolution of this practice and introduced new dialogues among her established techniques and materials.
