BIOGRAPHY

Born in the Netherlands and based in Curaçao since 1962, Babs de Brabander-Miltenburg is an artist whose principal discipline is painting. She began her artistic training at the Curaçaosche Kunst Akademie and later studied sculpture with Dries Kreykamp. Drawn increasingly to painting, she continued her training through courses in Amsterdam, Washington, and New York, including at the Art Students League. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Curaçao, Aruba, the Netherlands, Suriname, the United States, St. Martin, and the Dominican Republic.
