BIOGRAPHY
Corinne Boyé was born in Curaçao. She spent her childhood in Otrobanda, surrounded by the island’s historic monuments, forts, and buildings. Her love of painting was nurtured by her father, Herbert Boyé, a well-known Curaçaoan painter whom she often assisted while he worked. He inspired and encouraged her to develop her own painting practice. The nostalgia and grandeur of that period continue to be reflected in her work.
